Supporting Your Park
Volunteer at Los Angeles State Historic Park
Come volunteer at LA State Historic Park through our Community Engagement Fellows Program!
Established in 2016 and formerly called the Promotorx program, LA State Historic Park’s Community Engagement Fellows Program looks for local applicants ages 18-30 each fall who are interested in community engagement and advocacy work for the following year. The cohorts volunteer alongside LA State Historic Park staff, serving as advocates and ambassadors to promote and assist with existing park programs, enhance community engagement and visitorship at the park, and create their own new public programs based on community needs and interests.
Visit our Community Engagement Fellows Program page for the latest updates.
Volunteering through California State Parks Foundation
If you are interested in helping restore vital native habitat for both people and wildlife, join us for park workdays with our partners, California State Park Foundation (CSPF).
CSPF is an independent, member-supported nonprofit dedicated to protecting and preserving the California state park system. Please visit the California State Parks Foundation website for more information on how to sign up and find an upcoming workday at LA State Historic Park. No previous experience is needed to participate in a volunteer workday, and all tools and training will be provided.
